At Amanda Barnes Interiors, our focus is on curating a harmonious balance between refined minimalism and inviting comfort tailored to each home’s distinct personality. Our design ethos is guided by the effortless charm of California's casual lifestyle while reflecting the individual rhythms of our clients' lives.

Founder & Principal Designer
Amanda initially started her career in biotech far from the design landscape where she now feels so at home. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, she spent thirteen years entrenched in the corporate world. However, Amanda found her true calling after several of her own home renovations led her to establish Amanda Barnes Interiors in 2016. In her design career, Amanda has been recognized by the American Society of Interior Designers as an Associate ASID Designer.
Today, Amanda is grateful for the corporate training she brings to her business. Her early career in sales and marketing has equipped her to navigate projects with a strategic approach and efficient workflow. Additionally, by drawing from her experience as a mother, she has gained an invaluable perspective on how to curate homes that seamlessly blend elevated decor with practical designs for everyday life. She believes that design is a collaborative process rooted in thoughtful planning, paving the path for spaces to effortlessly blend style and utility.
